Hi
I started with heartburn a few weeks ago never had this before. really horrid. I was having cimzia injections and was also put on plaquenil . so don't know which might of kicked it off. it wipes me out when it happens so uncomfortable I did mention it to rh nurse who just said yes it can happen I have now stopped both meds waiting to start rituximab. the heartburn still comes but not quite as much. does anyone else suffer with this?

I did until I regularly took stomach protectors that inhibit the acid build up. Are you on these? Polly

I used to get it occasionally when I was taking diclofenac but my GP prescribed a stomach protector - omeprazole, and it seems to have done the trick. In the short term I found gaviscon quite good, but you need the protector.
